About Molly

Born and raised in New England, Molly McKeon grew up surrounded by music. Her papa was an avid banjo player who made sure music ran deep through the family, encouraging her uncles and mother to choose their own bluegrass instruments as soon as they were old enough to play. Molly began playing violin at age seven before teaching herself guitar at fourteen, quickly finding her footing as both a musician and songwriter. Rooted in folk, bluegrass, and Americana traditions, her music carries the storytelling spirit and rugged warmth of the places and people who raised her.
